Holistic Roots Workshop Series

Shared knowledge and resources with our community was why we created Holistic Roots!

With over fifty combined years in farming, Keira and Brian Farmer have learned a lot about many aspects of farming, but have always been particularly interested in a holistic approach to land management, the well-being of the animals raised on it, the quality of food produced, and the relationship all of this has to the health of both humans and the natural world. Their approach to raising food has always been guided by conservation, regenerations and sustainability.

“It is our hope that our facilities at Pitcher Mountain Farm become a place for the community to explore, experience, enjoy, and learn about the interconnectedness of these topics.”

“Holistic Roots will serve to educate and connect people with our farms, our health, our food systems and our planet through full circle, holistic and regenerative initiatives.”
